OK. I admit it, I’m obsessed with the Harlem Shake videos. This one has got to be one of the best by far. I’m trying to convince our office at Avalaunch to put one together. We’ll see what happens.

End of Weekend
So the weekend is over and it’s 1:30 Monday morning. I just got done watching Inception and doing some dishes. My family went to bed around 10, but I had a huge Sunday nap so I wasn’t as tired. Inception is a pretty dang awesome movie.
This weekend we started our weekend off with my wife and I going to a Jazz game. My boss gave us some awesome tickets and we definitely took advantage. Jazz lost but it’s always fun to go to the game. It was Tyrone Corbin’s first game coaching since Jerry Sloan retired a day or so before the game. The Jazz have a lot of work to do if they want to represent the Jazz of past.
Church was good. On Saturday I spent some time trying to do better at my church calling as Membership Clerk. I kind of got a little motivated so hopefully I’ll do a better job at that. Sunday I spent most my time updating records and cleaning records up. Fun stuff.
I’m tired now so I’m just getting ready to hit the hay. Hopefully I’ll have a good post to share in the near future.
No Time For Design Tonight
I didn’t have any time to work on my template tonight, but I definitely wanted to. My wife had to go to the church tonight with the youth. She always does on Wednesdays, but I usually have a meeting about the time she gets back. There’s usually 4 of us but it was just my buddy Erik and I tonight.
We’re trying to make some extra money doing some things online and he’s been a big help and been a work horse. I’m a recovering over-thinker. He’s good at keeping it simple. We discussed PicnicWith.Us and what we’re going to start doing there. It’s our e-commerce site that is slowly coming together. We can take orders but we’re barely starting to do SEO and trying to build links.
Anyways, thought I’d try to keep a good thing going by blogging. Hopefully I’ll get some more design done tomorrow. I’ve got a screaming 3 year old begging me to put him to bed.
Rebranding Myself
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about rebranding myself. If I would have understood who I was to begin with my “brand” would be much clearer, but now I’m in a discovery phase. I think too many of us forget about who we want to be or become, and not enough of the how we want to represent ourselves.
That sort of mentality makes me immediately think of the things people have done to make it in Hollywood. Selling themselves short and doing things they wouldn’t be proud of. Something that could taint their brand if at any time their competitors needed a scandalous edge to put them down in order to lift themselves up.
Consistent Posting
OK, I know I’ve said it before. I’m going to start posting every night if possible. I’ve finally established a schedule with my boys that I think I’m going to stick to. I’m going to put them to bed at 8 and post a blog immediately after putting them down. We’ll see how well I do.
WordPress Android App
So I just discovered the WordPress Android app and I’m pretty stoked about it. I think I’m going to start a daily journal and post to it from my phone at night. This post was written using the app.

I did some reorganizing with my server my blog was on so I got rid of my old content. I just recently reinstalled my Ubuntu 9.04 server that I run from home. I really dig Ubuntu 9.04 server too. I plan on writing an article about it soon. I’ll try and repost my old content eventually but for now this is it. I’ll try and get things a bit more organized again. I really want to do better at blogging and create more helpful tutorials and resources. I’m going to try and put some of my other ideas on my other domains and sites to keep this blog from getting too cluttered.
